I had no freaking idea.

Remember Hot Chocolate? That great Pes composed single? Some say it didn't work for them but I have to add that the Tekken 5 CM song "More & More" was Pes' work too after all. Though they both have a similiar thing going on about it being wholly inappropriate when read closely. Nonetheless the CD sold 52,900 in their first week, better than say Morning Musume *snicker* but not quite a lot. The main explanation is the stiff competition (WaT, Koda Kumi, Remiromen etc) and the fact that Rip Slyme hadn't been around for quite a while (And it was just the first week anyway). Lack of TV appearances as well added to it. Their one track single "Battle Funkastic" with Hotei sold 29,877 - not bad since it managed to actually hit the oricon charts. (Source ikkimashoi.com)

However there were 5000 singles of Hot Chocolate that went quietly when bought from Meiji's new cafe establishment: The 100% Chocolate Cafe. A 7 inch CD made entirely of chocolate was given as a gift along with the single. As well on the sleeve of this "CD" was a serial number that made each chocolate piece individual. The campaign even included Pes & Su having a snack there as well. (Iyaaan Pes. So cute XD)

Nonetheless some blogs have posted with their loot (I thought this had happened a while ago so why did they all get it so late?) Anyhow this campaign could be compared to the UNIQLO (A clothes brand) campaign long ago that had lines stretching for blocks XD.
