Backstage Pass March 2006 - Summary Part 1
Just to bring you guys up to date a bit, Fumiya's got a break since he's been pretty sickly for a long time (or as many suspect - a secret reason). This is the third Pes composed single to date (the past two being One & Tasogare Surround [shaddup! I liked it!]). The 2nd song "Slowdown" is written by Su. And the 3rd is the Toyota mashup song "Battle Funkastic"
Here's a little summary of the interview article from before. My japanese isn't too great so leave me alone! XD
The page before the interview (the one with the guys "gazing")
What is the sweet & bitter thing?
Bitter chocolate, a cup of coffee, "Kakutere"(?), a little special medicine,
That's love, probably?
With DJ Fumiya right now on break, after a year and 3 months, the release of their new song "Hot Chocolate" is
sweet and erotic (demo doko horo(?)) their sweet styled love song.
An interview with the 4 MC PES & SU & RYO-Z & ILMARI and
a fully loaded personal interview of "Sweeet" experiences & "Bitter!" episodes,
The Rip Slyme of "now" press on!
- Working on the song originally started on September * , but because A wasn't here or B wasn't here, 3 months passed too quickly. But everyone seemed to meet at the studio and all they did was say "Let'd do it, let's do it!". Then afterwards they'd say "Let's do it tomorrow then" but then it'd always be like "Ah... tomorrow's no good.", "Let's do it later" or "We'll keep in touch"
- Pes "Because Fumiya's not around, whatever I do I feel like it's a job I have to do with all my might."
- Ryo-z claims he had no idea that the song had Reggae influences
- The overall theme for the song seemed to be a very "masculine" song. They really wanted to have the word "Hot" in the title.
- Ilmari says Pes is dirty XD
*note that September is the date of Halcali's Twinkle Star's completion. If Fumiya was fit enough to do Halcali's single then why not help out with Rip Slyme - at least the performances? I mean I did suspect this when I heard of Halcali's single but it seems a bit odd that's he's absent only from Rip Slyme. I will definitely die if Fumiya leaves Rip Slyme - but that's just to extreme and destroy Rip Slyme altogether. The only thing I can take it as is that Fumiya is confident of Rip Slyme enough to let them do their stuff. While Halcali has definitely changed since their first starting and he's pulling the girls back and re educating them.
Please let that be true ;o;.
